MICHAEL SOUZA
PENCIL AND PAPER

Michael is a self-taught representational artist, who works only in graphite pencil.
His love and passion lie with the basics of art, all art starts with a sketch, a drawing, for some, color is added, but color can be distracting, taking away from the basics of the drawing/sketch.

The definition of a Representational Artist:
Representational art or figurative art represents objects or events in the real world, usually looking easily recognizable. a drawing that captures the personality and caricature of the subjects.
As with all Michaels drawing this is done in pencil with an attempt to capture texture and feeling of the subject.
