Artist Statement

I am grateful for the Yolo Arts/Agriculture program that allows artists access to some of the agricultural gems of Yolo county. My medium is photography, and I am currently exploring the potential of black and white processes to bring out the enduring, timeless character of the landscapes and objects I photograph. I am a minimalist at heart, so I try to capture the details and subtle aspects of the image revealed by the early light at dawn.
