Artist Statement

As a visual artist, I aim to shape contemplative moments, celebrate small or fleeting beauties, and relish subtle insights. My hope is that the viewer can find emotions they recognize within it, and engage in the mush and blur of abstraction while stepping out from a world of text and pixels. My work pivots off of natural and urban environments, sensory experiences, or conversations, and channels that into emotive composition. I treat each piece as a problem-solving endeavor, unearthing the logic of the subject from the blank page.
