Artist Statement

Through my work I aim to explore our different relationships within our domestic lives. These relationships often encompass and symbolize societal issues, personal struggles, identity, and History. This comes as an expression of my personal experiences within my home and myself as I faced multiple very impactful points in my life. Coming from my fight with depression, I explore it through themes of identity, fear, and melancholy. I have also always battled with fears of my future which I explore through societal issues and personal fears.
