Artist Statement

Jean Freeman was my first and only quilt teacher. I started quilting after I retired from teaching. I love the variety in quilting from traditional to improv. I usually make wall quilts. For me quilting is relaxing and it takes away the stress. I am always learning something new. I am a member of the Welcome All Quilting Club. I free motion my quilts on a domestic machine, I taught myself how to free motion by watching You Tube videos. I have been quilting for almost 20 years.
