Artist Statement

I am Brooke Garrett, an artist from Castro Valley, California. My deep love for nature and animals fuels my passion for art. I am committed to protecting our natural world and hope to inspire others to do the same. Trees, in particular, hold a special place in my heart; they are often taken for granted despite their incredible beauty and importance.

My art focuses on showcasing the hidden beauty of trees through the use of wood and epoxy resin. By highlighting the intricate patterns and textures within the wood, I aim to reveal the often-overlooked splendor of these natural wonders. Each piece I create is a tribute to the magnificence of trees and a call to appreciate and protect our environment.
