Artist Statement

We are delighted for the opportunity to share our art with you. We are both born and study ceramics method in Japan. We feel that our art is the blending of traditional Japanese techniques with a modern style, influenced from living in this country. Various kinds of clay are used to create our art work. Both thrown on the wheel and hand built. We have been working on a series of ceramics in the 'Kakiotoshi', 'Mishima' and 'Neriage' Styles.
