Artist Statement

My practice emerges from a foundation in analog photography and has evolved to include site-specific, multi-faceted projects expressed through still and moving lens based media, audio, text, and installation. For the past 15 years, my work has focused on the environmental, existential, and emotional ramifications of the climate crisis and often incorporates participation as a strategy to deepen public engagement. In order to reach a diverse audience, I utilize a variety of modalities, including transit displays, billboards, exterior projections, exhibitions, and mobile applications.
