Artist Statement

I work primarily in textiles, but tend to cycle through phases where I am working in other mediums as well. I am always experimenting with different materials side by side and independently in hopes of one day joining them together in Time. My work is driven by my personal, local, physical world and by shaped and ideas that occur in my dreams. In textiles and quilting I exclusively use repurposed cloth. I enjoy working in series, so that pieces relate together like siblings who come into the world under shared time and circumstances and who may or may not share certain qualities with one another.
