Artist Statement
My paintings are built over time through layers of encaustic, drawing, and mixed media.
Rather than hiding earlier decisions, I allow them to remain as part of the finished work,
creating surfaces shaped by memory, revision, and discovery. I create paintings that
reward sustained looking, where meaning gradually emerges through material,
time, and the viewer's own experience.
