Artist Statement
As a lifelong photo-realist acrylic painter, I decided during the corvid lockdown to try my hand at interpreting my cousin's photos as abstract paintings. The two diptychs submitted here are a series that can stand alone or as 4 co-joined pieces. They were fun to create and are not the poured paint technique seen a lot these days.
