Artist Statement
As a mixed media artist, I enjoy working with a variety of materials and techniques. My art is informed by the natural world, and I look for an unusual take on the common views we see every day. I BEGIN WITH A VISION FOR MY ABSTRACT INTERPRETATION OF THE SUBJECT, CREATE A COMPOSITION AND THEN BEGIN THE PROCESS. MATERIALS MAY INCLUDE PAINTED PAPERS, ACRYLIC PAINTS, ACRYLIC GELS, Pastes AND MEDIUMS, COLORED PENCILS AND MARKERS, PHOTOGRAHIC IMAGES.
