Artist Statement

My foray into the creative arts was borne out of a desperate need for distraction from severe Fibromyalgia/Myofascial Pain and the rigors of being an assistant caregiver to my dad, grandmother, and great uncle for ten years. As a photographer since childhood, I cherish all the time I can get with a camera in my hands. I am always learning new skills and have enjoyed combining my photography with digital art techniques. I am proud to say that I have never touched Artificial Intelligence in any capacity.
