Artist Statement

The depiction of a bejeweled and simultaneously rotting piece of fruit, which to me represents the destruction of life and nature contributes to the theme of my AP 3D portfolio which explores the relationship between creation and destruction. This piece required the integration of many foundational sculpture skills. This was made by carving a foam form and placing beads on the form using flat head pins
