Artist Statement

Vibrant color, bold designs, clean lines: a little crazy, a lot of fun, mostly bright and cheerful, with hints of Africa, where I spent a good part of my life.

The art I love to make is non-representational, making visible the universe within me in ways that surprise and delight me!

My artwork expresses hope. There is always hope. Life after death, spring after winter, dawn after the dark night. Because there is hope, we can laugh at life.

My art increases the happiness factor.
