Artist Statement

I am a high-energy creature of passion, a photographer and an aerial dancer. Through my photography, I share with you my explorations of extreme environments, such as places of great geologic drama. My images display my subjects in intimate and unexpected ways, highlighting often unnoticed details. Even the crushing circumstances of the COVID pandemic could not suppress the artist in me. Unable to travel or swing from the trapeze, I turned my camera to the closest subject at hand, myself, seeking to portray femininity from a position of strength rather than weakness. I hope to show you something that will make you think of our world in a different way.
