Artist Statement

I've always been fascinated by the intersection of art and science/engineering. There is inherent beauty in the precision drawings used to illustrate and the chaotic patterns in scientific data. I use my training as a mechanical engineer and my background in science to illustrate the beauty in patterns using shape, color, and light/shadow.
