Artist Statement
My paintings inhabit a world where the feminine body and the garden are inseparable — where a woman might bloom, dissolve, or lose herself entirely among the flowers. Drawing on fairy tale, poetry, and mythology, I build elaborate worlds around women at liminal moments — enclosed in towers, gathered in ceremony, poised at the threshold of transformation. In this floral abundance and decorative excess, I explore longing, joy, and the wild persistence of beauty within spaces that surround and hold as much as they celebrate.
