Artist Statement

I see the world through a third eye filter that sparks with colors, lines and shapes. Bright and playful colors dance around on my paintings with visible and purposeful brush strokes that are unapologetic in their expressive quality. My latest works are on canvas and paper. The subjects are pulled from my experiences and the world around me. People, nature and the shapes of architecture and objects co-mingle in a busy energetic way which is a reflection of my perception of everyday life. I create because it brings me joy and my joy is reflected in my art.
