Artist Statement
Abstractly Personifying the Circle, the perfect shape and a dichotomy of softness and strength, takes on characteristics which allow it to be a personality in a story. Among rich earthly hues or the electric colors of the universe, nurturing stitches, metal screws or twisted threads anchor it to the substrate as it plays out the scene and invites you in to play along.
