Artist Statement

In my practice, I explore themes of cultural hybridity, as well as the discomfort, disbelief, and grief that arise from migration. Each small sculpture documents a landscape, an action, or an interaction between objects that language cannot fully describe. I consider my sculptures to be stories written along my journey of moving to the United States and across countries multiple times.
