Artist Statement

This garden sculpture is a fragmentation of sacred imagery of various cultures - Buddhas, angels, Greek and Roman gods - we express these archetypal symbols in a state of transition and disintegration to represent impermanence, the passing of time, and myth-making, all pointing to the great mystery. The cement formula allows durable outdoor sculpture in a large scale which we have been creating for the past 20 years.
