Artist Statement

I am a direct painter, painting from life...I focus on my visual perception. It is the sense of the moment, the immediacy that drives me. This process leads me to new discoveries and new forms of expression.


I use a variety of palettes and a broad range of surfaces...always discovering
something new.

And when a painting is over it is time to move on to new images and perceptions. For with every ending there exists a new beginning.

This is true in art as it is in life.
