Artist Statement

Artist statement:
I find most of my inspiration during my travels. I see majestic trees, 'still life' at outdoor markets, everyday people scenes that seem to tell a story, a feeling, an attitude. These fleeting moments suddenly catch my eye, irresistibly asking for a second look, followed by a quick snapshot. Then, I can't wait to get my composition on paper. Watercolor allows me not only to express my vision of the mixtures of color and light that catch my attention but also sometimes my deepest feeling of nostalgia.
