Artist Statement

Realistic impressionism,brushstrokes of rich color applied To the Light Key in Nature, loosely based on an abstract foundation make up my unique painting style. My images captured are painted in one sitting, bringing a sense of freshness and spontaneity to my subject drawing in the viewer like that of the Impressionists. It is oil paint and turpentine to manipulate the paint on the canvas. Approaching a painting this way helps the whole process
Regardless if it’s a photo or on location It just keeps the scene fresh.
