Richard Amori
Artist Statement
Richard Amori is a multimedia visual artist from Detroit. Working primarily with graphite, charcoal, and watercolor, he creates intimate portraits of place, structure, and living forms. Rick’s work explores the quiet relationships between architectural details, natural elements, and the spaces where human and non-human worlds meet.
Finding inspiration in both city and in nature, the artist’s work reflects a close relationship with place. Each piece serves as both a study and a meditation, inviting viewers to slow down and notice the subtle connections that shape everyday surroundings. Through intimate scale and thoughtful detail, Richard aims to honor the quiet beauty of familiar forms and the stories they hold.
