Artist Statement

I am a plein air artist in South Central Pennsylvania. I work in soft pastels. They are tactile and messy in a way that connects to my soul. I love the challenge of capturing the light and emotion of the outdoors. I have a tiny corner studio in my house that I hardly ever use - I'd rather be outside.
