Artist Statement

It is a joy for me to create with my hands. I love the feel of clay as I form each face, bringing every “Sea Witch” to life with her own unique personality. Designing her garments adds another layer of expression—whether she carries a somber, quiet presence or a sense of light and joy.
Incorporating beach-found treasures and natural elements further enhances and individualizes each figure, deepening her story. The coastal landscape is endlessly inspiring, and I strive to capture that spirit and sense of place in every piece I create.
