Barry Heimlich

Artist Statement

The artist has had a love relationship with birds since childhood. Since retiring from a career as a pharmaceutical executive, he pursued his interest in birds and nature with a vengeance. His birdwatching evolved into a zest for bird and nature photography with an artistic bent. His photographs have received awards in local and statewide competitions. He also became a climate change research fellow, and an environmental advisor to local governments.
