Artist Statement
I am an artist drawn to scale, material, and the transformation of space. My work bridges fabrication, woodworking, machining, and muralism, blending construction with visual storytelling. I’m interested in art that functions as environment — work that surrounds people and shifts how they experience a place.
Through hands-on training in woodworking, machining, digital fabrication, and sculpture, I’ve developed a practice rooted in craft and structural thinking. Even in painting, I approach surfaces like a builder — considering weight, balance, and durability.
Murals hold a special place in my work. Collaborating on communal projects in Oakland and Seattle strengthened my commitment to public art that gathers people and reflects shared identity. I aim to create large-scale, immersive work that merges construction and imagination, inviting people into spaces that feel bold, grounded, and alive.
