Artist Statement

My work in functional stoneware is an exploration of the quiet, tactile relationship between the maker’s hand and the daily rituals of home. Using hand-built techniques, each piece possesses a deliberate weight and a unique silhouette. The surface variations become currents, where shades of cobalt blue and copper green ebb and flow. Color serves to highlight “imperfections,” ensuring that each piece has a singular character within a collection.
