Artist Statement

A contemporary artist from Korea, actively working in Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

The artist has received a total of 26 awards across 2024 and 2025, including the Grand Prize at the 2024 Ajou–China International Art Exhibition and the Grand Prize at the 2025 Ajou International Art Exhibition.

The artist’s work focuses on expressing the delicate emotions of the human inner world through a distinctive personal perspective, maintaining a practice that places no limitations on materials or modes of expression.

In the use of materials, the artist directly incorporates each material’s inherent physical sensibility into the work, thereby maximizing the emotional impact experienced in the artwork.
