The Intervention of Abandoned Objects series reclaims discarded books and found materials as sites of quiet resistance. Each work begins with an object that has lost its function—damaged, forgotten, or materially exhausted. Rather than restoring it, Babak intervenes: cutting, binding, sealing, gilding, compressing, or fragmenting the object to shift its ontology from utility
