Artist Statement

I have been painting for as long as I can remember, and it has always been a central part of my life. Painting comes naturally to me. It's both a skill I have honed over the years, and a source for personal joy. I love the sensation of a brush on a canvas, as well as working with a variety of mediums including Oil, acrylics, watercolors and graphite's. Through my art, I aim to give attention to parts of society that are often overlooked or unnoticed. As I begin to participate in art competition and engage with larger artistic communities. I want to give the viewers a chance to pause, ponder and reflect powerful truths conveyed under colorful strokes.
