Artist Statement

I work with observational photography, paying attention to how places, people, and objects carry traces of use and time. My photographs are often made in familiar settings—towns, landscapes, and everyday spaces—where small details or gestures suggest a larger story.

I’m drawn to moments between actions: pauses, rest, and quiet transitions. Whether photographing people, animals, landscapes, or objects, I’m interested in situations where something ordinary feels slightly off or unexpectedly revealing.
