Susan Flores

Artist Statement

I am currently working towards a Bachelors degree in Art Education with a minor in Ceramics at the University of Utah. I fell in love with clay in 8th grade and knew that is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I have a passion for teaching and want to help everyone feel confident in calling themselves an artist. I am interested in making bold statements with my work in functional and sculptural forms, and exploring my titles of Artist and Mother.
