Artist Statement

I am a potter who blends scientist precision with earthy intuition —I don’t just make pots — I understand them. Clay bodies, firing temps, flameware performance, glaze chemistry… my approach ceramics the way a researcher approaches an experiment. I want to know why something works, not just that it works.
My work leans toward functional pottery with soul. Bowls, mugs, cookware, home pieces — things people live with, not just display
