Artist Statement

My practice moves between dance and video, often drawing on existing materials, text, and collaborative processes. Centering women’s bodies and experiences, I use movement, framing and duration to question visibility, authorship, and how meaning is made together.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about looking: about what we’re allowed to see, and what slips past the edge of the frame. I explore how the camera shapes intimacy, how time loosens through repetition, and how meaning can emerge through absence as much as presence. Rather than offering complete narratives, I make space for gestures to remain unfinished and for bodies to resist full legibility. The camera becomes a witness, not neutral, but implicated, holding what can’t be resolved.
These thresholds, before performance and before certainty, are where grief surfaces in my work: not as an event, but as a process. Grief moves through bodies, landscapes, and time, carried in quiet repetition, disappearance, and care. I invite viewers into a shared act of witnessing, where loss is neither explained nor healed, but held.
