Artist Statement

In my artistic practice I am most comfortable creating tiles. This art form flows easily into mosaics. I have been creating art in this way for 30 years. I am born and raised in my favorite state of NJ. I make mostly one of a kind tiles out of cone 6 stoneware clays. My mosaics are created from my tiles, stained glass and various other small pieces of tesserae. My style of creating art allows projects to also be created in community situations. This way of working is very rewarding. I am honored that I am able to create art as my vocation. I will always be learning and growing in my body, mind and spirit through art.
