My resin works bring together found fragments and discarded materials in three-dimensional, light-reactive forms. Through color, translucence, and texture, I reconstruct what has been cast off—showing that even the smallest remnants can hold unexpected beauty. Each piece is a quiet meditation on transformation: a broken shard, a forgotten fragment, seen in light, becomes something entirely new.

For nearly a decade, I’ve wandered the shores of the Great Lakes—and beyond—collecting broken glass, ceramics, metal, and other remnants during beach cleanups. Preserved in resin, these materials carry their histories forward, yet gain new purpose in sculptural, dimensional form.

Waveflowers is more than a practice—it is a mission to use what is found. My journey began with beachcombing and a simple goal: to transform discarded items into beautiful art, reducing waste along the way. My work repurposes the abandoned and the forgotten, shaping fragments marked by industry, nature, and human behavior into 3D forms of resilience and renewal. Each work is a subtle testament to the beauty hidden in what is cast off.

Through Waveflowers, I seek to inspire both environmental and personal healing. Every artwork is a reminder that beauty often lives in what we discard—and that transformation begins with the simple act of reclaiming.
