Artist Statement

I create political art that protests the legal and illegal actions taken by the Trump administration and their various enablers including MAGA Republicans, institutional enablers as well as the Supreme Court. The Trump administration pursues anti-democratic themes with determined focus and effectiveness and it is incumbent upon citizens to find ways to push back and challenge these actions. It is my intention to document these political transgressions that are undermining our democratic ideals. Political art must be seen to have an effect and art exhibits are a prime vehicle to express these views. Public and online art shows can inspire citizens to express dissent through direct action
such as No Kings Protests and mobilization of voters.
