Artist Statement

I have been producing art for decades. I started sculpting stone and wood. Because of a brain tumor, I was unable to continue using that media due to the noise created by the sound of the tools on the stone or wood. I switched to clay decades ago and have thoroughly enjoyed working with it, preferably making hand built sculptures, rattles, wheel thrown pottery, mosaics, and jewelry.
