Artist Statement

I create immersive installations that blur the boundaries between industrial and organic materials. My work explores vulnerability, agency, care, and transformation through a material practice that includes aluminum, bronze, wood, clay, gelatin, and paper. These materials allow me to create sculptural environments that hold contradiction—softness inside of severity, comfort inside of discomfort—and speak to the complexity of queer embodiment, emotional labor, and transformation.
By bringing these elements into dialogue, I aim to open space for reflection, intimacy, and the celebration of queer multiplicity—embracing both discomfort and joy as sites of potential.
