Artist Statement

I blend eastern and western themes and techniques in my paintings, creating harmony between the western influences of my heritage and my interest in eastern arts. I love painting in a variety of media including digital and traditional, and specialize in a style inspired by traditional Japanese woodblock prints, utilizing traditionally inked line art and digital color in most pieces. With my work, I aim to make the old new again and bring appreciation for tradition into contemporary popular culture.
