Artist Statement

Through my paintings I give you windows into realms where fantasy and fiction are alive.

I love to recreate iconic figures from pop culture. Whether it be from comic books or movies. I enjoy bringing these characters to life and putting them into different environments or scenarios.

I create worlds filled with living mythical creatures that make you second guess treading on certain lands.

Worlds where magic is real and fills you with awe and inspiration. Worlds filled with ancient races of beings that are foreign and intriguing.

This is where my imagination lives. As a young boy I experienced these places in my mind while reading fantasy, horror novels and comic books.

They filled me with exhilaration , dread, and wonder. Which lead me into wanting to become an artist. So I could recreate what I was seeing and feeling while reading these tales of adventure and suspense.

As an adult I give viewers of my artwork a place to create their own stories with the imaginary creatures and beings they see in my paintings.
