Artist Statement

Abstract Expressionism marks a new chapter in my journey as an artist. After many years as a Creative Director and Graphic Designer, I am embracing a more intuitive and unrestrained approach to creativity—one that allows me to step away from the certainty of design and into the unknown.
There is both fear and freedom in standing before a blank canvas without knowing where the work will lead or having control over the final outcome. Rather than resisting that uncertainty, I am learning to embrace it, allowing each painting to evolve through movement, emotion, color, and instinct.
My current body of work reflects a year of transition, both creatively and personally. These paintings are an exploration of letting go, trusting the process, and finding freedom in the unexpected. They represent my willingness to embrace the unknown and discover what can emerge when I allow intuition to lead the way.
