Artist Statement

Using my Fine Arts and Professional Design Training with International Designer Experience, I currently create Digital Art, utilizing Adobe Illustrator software, as my Medium. No generative AI is used in my process.
The results are singular representations and series editions of Digital Art, Giclée Prints on Rag Fiber Paper; of interpretations of my emotions, feelings, observations of the visual and emotional climate and the world’s reactions to our ever-changing societal environment. Throughout my life, I have had the professional and personal need, desire to create 2-D and 3-D solutions. Currently my methodology is using my mouse to ‘sketch’; visually refining and developing, with changing nuances of my color pallet, lighting, building each iteration, each upon the next and next, layer upon layer; until I meet my internal barometer of a successfully completed digital canvas. My goal, the achievement of my best visual solutions, that communicate, provide impactful, thought-provoking, visual interpretations; ready to share.
