Artist Statement

I create my art to bring the beauty and interest of my subject to life.
One of my loves as an artist is the moment you realize the mistakes you made with the brush are what make the painting better. It starts new thinking and new choices as you grow.
I grew up in New York and received my traditional training at High School of Art and Design, School of Visual Arts, and the Arts Student League in Manhattan.
Moving to Cape Cod has inspired me to interpret nature in a new light. The ocean, people, sunsets, flowers are all beautiful and I try to capture it, in my paintings.
