Artist Statement

As a self-taught artist, I approach painting and drawing with a deep sense of curiosity and emotional honesty. Working primarily with acrylics and graphite, I am drawn to the physicality of each medium — the way a pencil can whisper across paper, or how layers of paint can carry weight and light all at once.

Art has always been a language for me, especially when words felt too small or too late. My work often explores themes of memory, resilience, and transformation, drawing inspiration from everyday moments, personal experiences, and the quiet spaces between thought and feeling. I aim to capture not just what is seen, but what is felt — the unseen textures of emotion that live beneath the surface.

Without formal training, I have learned to trust my instincts, allowing process and experimentation to guide my evolution as an artist. Every piece is a conversation between control and surrender, reflection and intuition.

Through my art, I hope to invite viewers into a shared space of vulnerability, connection, and wonder.
