Artist Statement

Artists and scientists have the common drive to observe, create and share their insights with the world. There is much science in art and much art in science. While I am formally trained as a scientist and engineer and have had a rewarding career in that field, I am also drawn to art. In art, a few laws of physics can be selectively ignored to create an interesting scene, or creatures thought mundane can shine on center stage, or situations of fantastic improbability can be rendered to make things even more interesting than the physical world allows. Anything can happen. And it probably will.
